The receiver is fully engraved with highly detailed hunting scenes of two dogs on the right, partridge on the left, and a beautiful scene of a man in full hunting attire stalking a fox. The balance features finely executed scroll and checker board designs with fine gold wire inlaid borders. With dual triggers and tang mounted safety. Checkered splinter forearm with engraved fittings, matching gold wire inlay, pistol grip stock with inset horn accents at the tips of the flats, raised cheekpiece, and vented rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .720/.714 inch; minimum wall thickness .027/.027 inch; drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 2 3/4 inches; length of pull 15 1/2 inches.

Fine as refinished with 80% of the matte blue finish on the barrels, small dings, and traces of pitting under the blue, scattered scratches and nicks, and some light oxidation. The receiver has a mostly bright silver/gray patina with sharp engraving, darker patina on the triggers, and fine gold inlays. The refinished wood has worn checkering, numerous small dings, rounded edges, and added recoil pad. Mechanically excellent.
