Beaded blade front and singe leaf rear sight with gold inlaid sighting line on the rear face, double claw scope bases and Carl Zeiss DIAVAR-D 1.5-6x scope on a raised quarter rib marked "MADE IS AUSTRIA BY LUDWIG BOROVNIK - FERLACH". With matching serial numbers on the receiver, barrel, and forearm, as well as matching "70" proof dates. The coin gray receiver features fine tight scroll engraving with hatched backgrounds, engraved break lever and trigger guard with gold inlaid monogram, dual triggers (front trigger is set trigger), and tang mounted safety switch. Finely checkered extra fancy English walnut, three-piece forearm, and pistol grip stock with attractive dark figure, horn grip cap, and basket weave checkered horn buttplate. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 9/16 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 13 1/2 inches. The second barrel is numbered to the gun with matching blade and leaf sights, and double claw type scope bases with a Carl Zeiss DIATAL-D 6x42 scope on the raised quarter rib marked to match. Caliber marked on the second barrel is ".300-.300 WIN MAG". The set includes a leather bound takedown case with green velvet interior, two boxes (10 rounds) DWM 9.3x64 mm ammunition, 7 round .300 Win Mag ammunition, and green felt backed leather sling.

Very fine. 95% plus original blue finish remains on the barrels with some small nicks and scratches, and some light spotting around the muzzles. The receiver has remnants of a yellowing coat of protective varnish with sharp engraving, and attractive coin gray finish. The wood is fine with numerous small dings and scratches, and crisp checkering. Extra barrel is also very fine with 95% plus original blue finish, some small bright spots, and light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Scopes are very good with some dings and scratches, and clear optics. Case is good with scuffs and scratches on the exterior, patina on the metal fittings, and some tears and worn spots on the interior lining.
