Description:

Only 1,002 of these carbines were manufactured in 1864 and early 1865. They were delivered shortly after the end of the Civil War. It has mostly the standard markings and features other then non-factory stamped "56 + 50/CAL/RM" on top at the breech.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 75% plus of the original case colors, 40% of the original blue finish which is fading to a smooth brown, light spotting, minor marks and scratches, a few small dents in the otherwise fine wood, and distinct markings. Mechanically excellent.
