Receiver manufactured in 1959 and later upgraded by Lenard M. Brownell. The barrel was manufactured without sights and is marked "LENARD BROWNELL, WYARNO, WYO. NO. 56" on top and "C.R. & P.J. HART" on the left side at the breech. The Redfield 5x20-44 scope has a Redfield mount. The extended receiver tang has a manual safety. Other upgrades include jeweled bolt and extractor, trigger guard, Canjar trigger assembly and highly figured pistol grip stock featuring cheekpiece, fleur-de-lis checkering, sling eyelets, metal grip cap and fine checkered buttplate.

Very fine as upgraded by Lenard M. Brownell. Retaining 99% plus of the blue finish shows a couple small dings on the underside of the barrel. The stock shows a couple of minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The scope is excellent, with clear optic.
