Description:

Manufactured in 1903. Fixed sights, with the two-block address and patent dates on the left side of the slide ahead of the Rampant Colt, two-block caliber and model markings on the right, matching serial number on the rear underside and the early style "finger nail file" sharp checkering on the front on each side. The frame features the Military-specific extended grip frame, correct magazine (nickel finished, 1884 patent date) and hold-open device, with a niter blue trigger, casehardened round hammer, lanyard swivel and checkered Colt banner grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 85% plus bright original high polish blue finish, showing some light scuffs and areas of gray and brown patina overall, bright edge wear, and light handling marks. 80% of the original casecolors and nitre blue on the small parts. The grips are fine, with some dings and dents. Mechanically excellent.
