Manufactured in 1923. The matching numbered slide has the two line address and patent dates on the left side, and the right side has the caliber marking with the Rampant Colt. The frame is marked "1/VP" and "22" on the trigger guard, with a flat top rear sight, later production replacement serrated slide stop, wide hammer, long smooth trigger, short grip safety, smooth flat mainspring housing, later style checkered grips, unmarked magazine and replacement blued barrel marked "P" on the underside.

Fine with 70% of the original blue finish, showing areas of gray patina on the grip straps and slide, bright edge wear, scattered spotting and handling marks, and some light takedown lines on the frame. The replacements grips are very good, with a few dings. Mechanically excellent.
