This was the second pocket automatic Colt manufactured. This pistol was manufactured in 1923. It has the two line address and 1897 and 1903 patent dates on the left side of the slide and the Rampant Colt behind the slide serrations. The right side of the slide is marked, "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" below the ejection port. Fixed sights, high polished blue finish, blued barrel, black hard rubber checkered grips with the "COLT" banner at the top and the Rampant Colt at the bottoms. Two tone magazine marked "CAL.32/COLT" on the bottom. With original black Colt hinged lid box with serial number penciled on the bottom.

Near new in box. The pistol retains 99% of the original high polished Colt blue finish with scattered overall light scratches and handling marks. The grips are near new with the slightest traces of handling. The box is good with heavy edge wear and the end label is about 3/4 missing. The interior of the box shows little wear and the labels are fully intact. An excellent Model 1908 Hammerless in its original box.
