Manufactured in 1937. Fixed sights with the two-line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, the Super 38 legend and Rampant Colt on the right, and a matching serial number beneath the firing pin stop plate. The frame is marked "38" and "R/VP" on the trigger guard, with a short milled trigger, long grip safety, checkered wide hammer, slide stop, thumb safety and arched mainspring housing, checkered grips, two-tone Colt magazine and a "SUPER 38 AUTO" marked barrel.

Excellent, with 97% plus original blue finish, showing some light dings on the slide and front strap, minor edge wear, spotting and handling marks, and some light takedown wear on the frame. The grips are very fine, with some mild dents. Mechanically excellent.
