Manufactured in 1932. Fixed sights, with the two-line Colt address and patent dates on the left side ahead of the Rampant Colt, the caliber markings on the reverse, and the trigger guard marked "99" on the right and "1/VP" on the left. Overall finish is blue, with fine casehardening on the trigger and safeties, a pair of checkered grips with Colt medallions, and a two-tone Colt magazine. Included with the pistol is a hand-numbered matching Colt "black box" with a blue and white end label, which also contains a folded original instruction manual sheet.

Near new in box, with 99% of the original blue finish, showing some light handling marks overall. The vivid original case colors are strong and sharp. The grips are also excellent with some light dings and wear. The exceptionally fine box shows some light wear on the edges, with some foxing around the edges of the end label. Mechanically excellent.
