Description:

Manufactured before the German invasion of Poland, with the early style markings and features. The left side of the slide is marked "F.B. RADOM/1939r" , "Polish Eagle", "VIS-WZ. 35/pat. Nr. 15567", the right side of the frame is marked with the serial number and both sides of the trigger guard bow are marked with various proof marks. The left side of the frame is marked "49078" and the inside of the slide is marked "49227". According to "Axis Pistols" by Jan C. Still, this mismatch is actually factory correct given the serial number range. Fitted with a set of checkered black plastic grips with "VIS" and "FB" on the right and left respectively. The back strap is slotted for a shoulder stock. With a correct and rare pre-occupation Polish military leather holster featuring a single belt loop and two "D" rings for a shoulder strap on the back. The inside of the holster flap has an ink stamped marking for Zaklad Produkcyjny.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. 85% plus original blue finish remains with areas of moderate edge wear, scattered nicks and dings, and traces of light surface spotting. The grips are fine with sharp checkering, and some small chips along the butt edges. Mechanically excellent. Holster is very good with scuffs and dings throughout, faint interior markings, tight stitching, and solid construction.
