Around 3,000 of these Second Model Bacon Pocket revolvers were manufactured in the late 1850s-early 1860s. It has a brass post front sight, "BACON MFG. CO. NORWICH CONN." on the barrel, fluted cylinder, and matching serial numbers on the various components.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 60% plus of the original blue finish concentrated on the barrel and cylinder whereas the frame has traces of blue and otherwise smooth brown patina. The loading lever and hammer have 70% original case colors. The strain screw is absent. The grips are very fine with most of the original varnished finish, mild edge wear, a small chip at the lower edge at the top of the left panel, and some minor scratches. Mechanically excellent.
