Description:

One of 23,000 manufactured in the late 1850s and early 1860s. These were among the most widely used double action revolvers of the Civil War. Standard markings and features including inspector markings.

Rating Definition:

Very good with 20% original blue finish, some minor pitting, a solder repair at the loading lever latch, mostly mottled gray-brown patina on the balance, general mild scratches, and some chipping and carving on the butt. The grip is also very good with clearly legible cartouches. Mechanically fine.
