This is an excellent to like new example of a current production, full automatic M2 "MA-Deuce" 50 cal Browning machine gun, as manufactured by the RAMO company of Nashville Tennessee. Anyone that has been in the military or watched a good war movie lately will readily recognize this as the infamous "MA-Deuce" M2 HB MG. This model was originally developed by John Browning in the late 1920s and has been used in every major battle by all U.S. Forces and countless allies throughout the post WWI time frame. It has been mounted and used in a multitude of roles on both vehicle, tanks and even aircraft and still soldiers on in use even today in the Iraqi Freedom conflict. This specific model was manufactured by the RAMO company, using newly made commercial parts built on one of their new RAMO receivers. The right side of the receiver is marked SER.NO.003288/MACHINE GUN CAL 50 M2/MANUFACTURED BY/RAMO MANUFACTURING INC./NASHVILLE, TN. /U.S.A./ over their "Elephant logo". This rig is made up a fully functional M2 with heavy barrel, a complete M3 50 cal tripod that is marked on top "MOUNT TRIPOD/MG. CAL 50 M3", along with an original T&E mechanism and pintle. This lot also includes 10 dummy round of 50 BMG ammunition. As noted above this is a complete and fully functional, full automatic M2 machine gun, currently registered with the ATF.

Excellent with 98% of its gray parkerized finish overall showing light edge and high spot wear with signs of light firing. The markings are clear and sharp. The tripod and other equipment are all in excellent condition also. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
