Manufactured in 1918. Fixed blade front and flat top rear sights with the three-line Colt patent dates and Remington Arms address on either side of the circled "REMINGTON/UMC" trademark on the left side of the slide and "MODEL OF 1911/U.S. ARMY CALIBER .45" on the right. The frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "E.E.C." on the left side with "E" and "6" on the trigger guard. Fitted with a wide checkered hammer, short grip safety, long trigger, flat mainspring housing, checkered double diamond grips, pinned base two-tone magazine and a "P" marked barrel.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal quality refinished, with 97% plus Military style brush blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, the start of a brown patina on the grip straps, a small amount of covered pitting concentrated at the rear of the slide, and mild handling marks overall. The slide markings are a bit faded, and the inspector mark has been restruck with shadow of old inspectors marks barely visible. The revarnished grips are fine, with scratches, dents and recut checkering. Mechanically excellent.
