Manufactured in 1945. Blade front and adjustable notch rear sights, with the "ACE" diamond and Service Model nomenclature on the right side of the slide and the address, patents and Rampant Colt markings on the left side. U.S. Property marked frame, with a "G.H" (D absent) inspector stamp on the left. Stamped trigger, arched serrated mainspring housing, long grip safety, reinforced grip panels (left Keyes Fiber, right Colt), and a Service Model full blue magazine. Barrel is a post-war replacement

Rating Definition:

Extremely fine, with 98% of the original parkerized finish, showing some bright edge wear and mild handling marks. The replacement grips are fine, with wear and dents concentrated on the left panel. Mechanically excellent.
