Manufactured in 1943, and later overhauled and upgraded by the Army Ordnance Corps into a National Match pistol with a Remington-Rand frame, and Colt slide. Fixed Patridge blade front and "US" marked Elliason fully adjustable rear sights, standard one-line Colt address on right side of slide, and "NM7791435" stamped on the left. The frame has standard markings with the additional arsenal added markings of "SA" with an over stamped "RIA" on the right side ahead of the slide catch, and "NM" on the right side of the trigger guard. The front strap has been checkered. With an adjustable solid aluminum trigger, matching barrel chamber marked "45 AUTO/NM 7791414/2451" barrel bushing marked "7267718/NM", and checkered grips. With a full blue magazine, electro pencil marked to match the gun.

Very fine as arsenal upgraded and refinished with 95% plus of the dark gray parkerized finish remaining, some areas of edge wear, and small nicks and scratches. The grips are also very fine with sharp checkering, and some small handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
