Description:

According to the included factory letter, this pistol was part of a three-piece shipment to Montgomery Ward & Company in Chicago, Illinois on August 27, 1907, with a blue finish and "Not Listed" grips. Fixed sights, with the two-line, two-block address and patent markings on the left side of the slide, circled Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and caliber markings ahead of the ejection port. The trigger guard is marked "VP" and "6" on the left side, with a round knurled hammer, checkered grips, and an unmarked full blue magazine.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 50% plus original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina on the side and grip straps, strong original blue on the protected areas of the frame, and light spotting and handling marks. The heavily worn grips are good, with flat spots and dents. Mechanically excellent.
