Manufactured in 1943, with the sights properly absent, "R.A./flaming bomb/7-43" on the barrel and the properly offset manufacturer, model and serial number markings on the receiver ring. A parkerized Redfield scope base is mounted with metal shims and staked screws, with a pair of blued scope rings (0.75" internal diameter) installed. Small "R" stamps are present on the bolt handle and cocking piece, with the rear edge of the follower beveled. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a circled "P" on the underside of the wrist, "RA", "crossed cannons" and "FJA" on the left, "RIA/EB" on the buttstock, a green canvas sling and a shallow checkered steel buttplate. Replaced trigger guard 1903 steel trigger guard.

Fine as assembled/arsenal refurbished, with 90% of the parkerization, showing some pitting on the bolt, light edge wear and mild handling marks overall. Some light spotting is present on the barrel bands. The stock is fine, with some light dents and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
