Receiver marking has gap between "U.S./CAL" and "RIFLE .30 M1" on top of receiver legend, thus denoting Springfield Armory manufacture. "A47C/IHC F6528291" drawing number stamped on right forward internal receiver leg. Blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, with "DRC IHC" marked windage drum and "IHC" elevation drum. "Square" pattern receiver heel markings, with International Harvester bolt, trigger housing, hammer, and operating rod. Barrel is marked "LMR" and dated "7-53", and the right front receiver leg is marked "A 47C/IHC F 6528291". A light glass bedding has been performed on the smooth pistol grip stock, with a circled "P" on the grip, Department of Defense cartouche on the left side, green canvas sling and a checkered buttplate.

Excellent, with 90% of the original parkerized finish, showing light cycling wear on the receiver, some dings on and around the front sight, a minor bend in the stacking swivel and mild handing marks overall. The stock is very fine with a small amount of filler material in the upper handguard and some light dings and dents. Mechanically excellent.
