Description:

Manufactured in 1918. Blade front and flat top notch rear sights with the two-line, two-block patents and address on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt between the blocks, and "MODEL OF 1911.U.S.ARMY" ahead of the ejector port. The "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "JMG" markings are present on the frame with the conjoined "HP" on the chamber hood. Fitted with a long smooth trigger, wide checkered hammer, short grip safety, checkered slide stop and thumb safety, smooth flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop, and double diamond checkered grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as professionally restored with 99% of the brushed blue finish, and some light handling marks. The grips are also very fine with sharp checkering and some very small dings. Mechanically excellent.
