Manufactured in the 1980s by Tippmann Arms of Fort Wayne, Indiana, this is a finely made copy of the 1919 Browning 30 Caliber Machine Gun, scaled down to match the 22 Long Rifle cartridge and configured for semi-automatic fire only. Overall length is 19 1/4 inches, with a blade front sight and folding adjustable rear sight on the receiver, air-cooled barrel with ventilated head shield, and a checkered pistol grip. The right side of the receiver is marked "MOD. 1919/NO. 0A3/TIPPMANN ARMS CO./FT. WAYNE, IN." behind the cocking handle, and a sliding safety is installed on the rear above the pistol grip. Included with the 1919 is a folding steel tripod, traverse & elevation mechanism, one (empty) ammunition belt, hardwood transport case and two ammo boxes, all scaled to match.

Very good. 90% plus original finish remains with scattered light spotting, some surface scratches, and handling marks overall. The case shows mild wear and handling. The belt feed mechanism sticks a bit, otherwise mechanically very good.
