Barrel is match grade, cut rifled chrome-moly steel fluted round barrel. Pre-64 type action with jeweled bolt. The receiver is fitted with scope bases and mounts. Fancy American walnut with satin polyurethane finish, "CLASSIC" checkered pistol grip stock, solid Winchester recoil pad and front and rear inletted sling swivel studs. Specially ordered in the .338-06 caliber, very unique for the Model 70. Included are a U.S. Repeating Arms factory letter confirming model, serial number, grade, barrel, stock, other features mentioned above, and a plastic case.

Excellent. The rifle retains 99% plus original blue finish with only the slightest of handling marks. The stock is excellent with only the slightest of handling marks. Checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
