Description:

An included letter from William, Larkin, Moore identifies this gun by serial number as being from the Alex Kerr collection. Kerr was the owner/operator of the Kerr Sport Shop in Beverly Hills, California, from 1936 until 1982. During WWII Kerr served as a Lieutenant Commander and head of gunnery training at Alameda Naval Base in California due to his excellent reputation as a skeet shooter, holding several world records for consecutive hits in competition, as well as many individual and dual team meet championships. Includes an August 5, 1958 dated photograph of Kerr holding a Remington Model 32. Dual bead sights, standard markings, 2 3/4 inch chambers, ejectors, full/full chokes, single selective trigger, and tang safety. With a woodgrain plastic Hydrocoil style buttstock and checkered walnut forearm. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Rating Definition:

Very good. 85% original blue finish remains with handling marks throughout, mild edge wear at the breech end of the barrels, and light surface scratches. The wood is good with the forearm painted to match the added Hydrocoil stock, scattered dings and dents, small crack behind the upper tang, and the recoil buffer aspect of the buttstock no longer functioning. Mechanically excellent.
