The accompanying factory letter states that this "revolver was kept by the Colt factory as an example of a revolver with radioactive sights." The letter confirms the 2 1/8 inch shrouded barrel in .38 Special, "special marking stamps marked twice on right side of frame, including the word 'LTD,'" blue finish, anodized aluminum alloy frame and side plate, checkered wraparound grips with gold Rampant Colt medallions, white hanging tag hand marked in ink "Special Radio Active (sic) Sights," and Heritage of Craftsmanship box with Custom Shop end label numbered to the gun. It was released from the factory in 2008.

Very fine. The revolver retains 98% plus original blue finish showing a few scattered minor dings and scratches and a faint cylinder drag line. The grips are excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine showing some minor wear.
