This model introduced the locking action which made the rolling block action safer by automatically dropping the hammer to half cock when the breech is closed. It has the standard markings and features.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 30% original case colors, gray and brown patina and light spotting on the balance, some faint pitting, minor marks and scratches, and legible markings. The wood is very good and has a dark oiled finish, scattered minor dings and scratches consistent with storage, and a light but legible cartouche. Mechanically excellent.
