Manufactured in 1922. The matching serial number is marked on the frame, and left side of the grip straps under the grips. The partial serial number "73" is marked on the rear face of the cylinder. The loading gate and right rear of the frame are marked with assembly number "989". Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top. The included factory letter confirms the caliber, barrel length, finish, with the grips as "Not Listed" and that it was shipped as 1 to Von Lengerke & Antoine in Chicago, Illinois on April 25, 1922.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 60% original blue finish remaining, showing some muzzle and edge wear, and scattered wear and thinning, with areas of smooth gray patina and some minor oxidation on the ejector housing. The frame and hammer retain 70% of the original slightly fading case colors with a bright area visible on rear left side. The grips have faded to brown, and remain very good with a few minor handling marks and distinct checkering. The markings are sharp. The action is excellent.
