Manufactured in 1886. Single bead sight on the concave rib marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A." with 2 3/4 inch chambers, single extractor, cylinder chokes, and light engraving at the breech. Light border engraving with splashes of decorative scroll on the receiver with dual triggers and tang mounted thumb safety. Checkered splinter forearm with ebony tip insert, pistol grip stock with silver initial oval, and checkered Rampant Colt hard rubber buttplate. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 2 1/8 inches; drop at heel 4 inches; length of pull 14 inches.

Fine. The barrels have an overall smooth brown patina with strong, visible Damascus pattern, clear markings, some small dings on the rib edges, and some light forearm wear. The receiver is a smooth mottled brown/gray with crisp markings, and some light spotting. The wood is also fine with well defined slightly worn checkering, scattered small dings, and tight fit. Mechanically excellent.
