The accompanying factory letter lists this rifle with a 24 inch octagon barrel in .22 RF, blue finish and wood stock when it was shipped to Continental Tobacco Co. of New York City for Floradora Tag Co. of Chicago on November 14, 1904. The rifle has standard Colt markings, a collector or museum number on the lower tang and buttplate and dovetailed blade front and notch rear sights. The straight grip stock is fitted with a serrated replacement plastic buttplate. The rear left frame has an extra screw installed.

Fine. The rifle retains 70% thinning original blue finish. There are several cold blue notches cut on the barrel at the breech. The revarnished wood is very good with a few missing tiny chips, large repair on the underside of the buttstock and some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
