Manufactured circa early 1890s. The top barrel flat is marked with the two-line address/patent dates ahead of the rear sight and "32-W." at the breech. The top of the receiver is marked "MARLIN SAFETY" and the serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver. German silver front blade sight and an adjustable rear buckhorn sight. Blue finish with casehardened hammer, lever and buttplate. Mounted with a deluxe checkered walnut forearm with steel endcap and pistol grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

Fine with 70% original blue finish remaining with some high point wear and extensive flaking/corrosion on the barrel and receiver. The hammer, lever and buttplate show 60% of the bright original case colors, The wood is very fine with some scattered minor dents, dings and scratches, and very crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent. Additional information: The actually caliber is 32-20.
