The factory letters confirm guns with serial numbers "2103" and "2104" were shipped separately to H & D Folsom Arms Co. in New York City in March 3-7, 1873 (gun A) and Spies Kissam & Co. on April 1, 1873 (gun B). They have been converted to .44 Russian C.F. and have new barrels, grips, and cylinders. The pair comes in a hardwood case with French fitted interior and a cartridge block holding twelve dummy cartridges.

Very fine as extensively restored with minor cylinder drag lines and handling/storage marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent with light storage wear.
