Description:

It has a post front sight, "ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERRUCA" on top of the barrel, "*/T" and British proofs on the left side at the breech, crossed keys marking on the loading lever, a hand engraved naval scene along with "COLTS PATENT" and British and Liege proofs on the cylinder, "COLTS/PATENT" on the left side of the frame, "36 CAL" on the left side of the trigger guard, silver grips with floral designs and round scenes (one showing a vehicle with three people that appears to be a steam powered wagon and may represent a train), unknown calligraphic markings on the butt of the grips (appears to be Arabic), and a lanyard ring.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 80% plus nickel plated finish, mild pitting, numerous scrapes and dings, and aged patina on the grips. Mechanically fine.
