Fine. The revolver retains 30% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The grips are also fine showing some minor high edge wear and some dings and scratches with most of the finish remaining. The barrel is loose, but the action functions properly.

The revolver has the desirable "half plate" finish combination of a blued barrel and cylinder and a silver plated frame. Less than 10% of the No. 2 revolvers had "half plate" or other special finishes. The grips are also fine showing a missing small chip near the bottom (right panel), some moderate high edge wear, and some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
