Manufactured in 1923 and subsequently embellished by Master Engraver John Warren who has signed his work on the underside of the barrel. The revolver features a highly attractive floral scroll engraving on a punch dot background. Double gold inlaid bands appear on the barrel at the muzzle and breech and on the rear of the cylinder. Gold borders accent the engraving the cylinder, and gold "MP" initials inside a gold outlined shield appear on top the of the back strap. It has standard Colt barrel and frame markings. Comes with an extra matching custom embellished cylinder and a hardwood case.

Very fine as embellished by Master Engraver John Warren. The revolver retains 99% plus of the blue and casehardened finishes showing limited light scratches. The replacement grips are oversized and have crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent showing a few minor handling/storage marks. Truly an attractive embellished Colt SAA revolver by Master Engraver John Warren.
