Manufactured in 1878. It has standard S&W markings and matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder, barrel latch, and barrel. The factory box is numbered to the gun.

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% plus original nickel finish showing limited light flaking. Nearly all original case colors remain on the hammer. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with repairs, some absent material and some minor wear. Provenance: Terry Popkin collection.
