Manufactured circa 1929. Built on a .38 frame but chambered in .32 caliber. The rare 2 1/2 inch barrel has the model/caliber marking on the left side and two-line address on the right side. Matching numbers are found on the yoke and crane. Comes with the original box featuring an end label listing nickel finish and 2 1/2 inch barrel, bore brush and "Shooting Suggestions" and "Protected by Colt" pamphlets.

Near new in box. The revolver retains 99% original nickel finish with a small spot of flaking on the butt. The grips are fine with some minor-moderate pressure dents on the bottoms and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is near excellent showing minimal wear. A boxed rare variation of a .32 Police Positive that will be a welcomed addition to a Colt DA revolver collection.
