The accompanying factory letter lists this scarce flattop target revolver with a 7 1/2 inch barrel in .455 caliber, blue finish and type of stocks not listed when it was shipped to Colt's London Agency on January 15, 1913. London proofs are stamped on the left side of the barrel and frame and on each cylinder flute. It is fitted with elevation adjustable front and windage adjustable rear target sights and has standard Colt markings with the addition of a five pointed star and the number "15" stamped below the stylized Rampant Colt "C" logo on the left side plate. The hammer spur, trigger and grip straps are checkered. The grips have Colt medallions and the right panel has a relief carved steer head.

Extremely fine. The revolver retains 90% plus bright original high polish blue finish showing loss at the muzzle, some thinning to a brown and some minor handling marks. There are a few small patches of pitting. The grips are fine with repairs and some minor scratches. The steer head remains crisp. Mechanically excellent.
