Wide blade front and square notch flat top rear sights, with the two-line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, the National Match nomenclature on the right and a matching serial number beneath the firing pin stop plate. The Government Model frame is marked "W/VP" on the left side of the trigger guard and "20" on the right, with a short milled trigger, wide checkered hammer, arched checkered mainspring housing and grips, "COLT/45 AUTO" marked magazine, and an "MB" marked barrel.

Fine, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing a gray patina on the grip straps and high edges, a number of takedown lines and circular scratches visible on the slide and frame, light spotting and scattered handling marks. The grips are very good, with flattened checkering on the tops of both panels and some scattered light dings overall. Mechanically excellent.
