Manufactured in 1931. Standard two-line patent date markings and address on the left side of the slide along with "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE .45" and the Rampant Colt logo on the right side. The right side of the frame is marked "GOVERNMENT MODEL" above the serial number "C 159968". The right side of the trigger guard is stamped "60," and the left side is stamped "1/VP" in a triangle proof. The rear of the slide is stamped with the matching serial number under the firing pin stop. Fitted with a set of fully checkered grips.

Very fine. 85% plus original blue finish remains with some traces of visible edge wear, faint takedown mark, some light spotting, and a patch of pitting on the right rear of the slide. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering and a few small dings. Mechanically excellent.
