Manufactured in 1936, this is one of the P.08 pistols manufactured by Krieghoff for the Luftwaffe. This chamber area is stamped with the full "1936" date with the front toggle marked with the C-1, 1936 pattern "H, anchor, K/KRIEGHOFF/SUHL", where the "Krieghoff" name runs from the full left side to the right side of the top of the toggle. A proper set of "stick eagle" and "eagle/2" proofs are present on the barrel, receiver and breechblock, with matching external numbers overall and a straw finish on the small parts. The grips are checkered brown plastic. Magazine absent.

Very good, with 50% of the faded original blue finish, showing areas of mixed brown and gray patina on the grip straps, light scratching on the left side of the frame, bright edge wear, and mild spotting and handling marks. The straw finished parts have faded to gray, with some traces of original color in the protected areas. Mechanical work is needed as the firing pin and sear bar are stuck, and the extractor is chipped on the left side. The grips are very good, with some light dents and scratches.
