Dated "1939" over the chamber and marked "42" on the top of the toggle. Two "eagle/63" proofs and the spread winged eagle firing proof appear on the right side of the chamber, with the latter also appearing on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. A smaller "eagle/63" is on the upper left rear of the barrel. The upper safety area and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. Finish is full blue, and minus the magazines, external numbers are matching. Included with the pistol is a 1939 dated brown leather Offermann & Sons holster and an extra alloy base magazine.

Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing some bright gray wear on the high edges and on the right side of the barrel, the start of a brown patina on the grip straps and the rear of the receiver, and minor spotting and handling marks overall. The grips are fine with a scratch down the right panel and some mild dings and flat spots overall. The holster is good, with some scuffs, cracks and stains. Mechanically excellent.
