Manufactured during World War II, this variant of the PP uses an aluminum alloy in the frame construction, conserving war-essential steel and providing a noticeable weight reduction to an already light and compact weapon. Fixed sights, with the Walther banner, two-line address and caliber markings, and "Mod.PP" on the left side of the slide, matching numbers and "eagle/N" proofs on the slide, chamber and muzzle. With a 60 degree safety and checkered Walther banner grips. Included with the pistol is an unmarked brown leather flap holster.

Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue/anodized black finish, showing some bright edge wear, a mixed gray patina on the grip straps, scattered handling marks, and some minor chipping on the frame around the trigger guard. The grips are very fine, with some damage to the screw and mild dings. Hold-open needs adjustment, otherwise mechanically excellent.
