This revolver was manufactured in 1985 and engraved by Colt Master Engraver George Spring who has been engraving for Colt since 1975. The box has three end labels all numbered to the gun. One stamped with "RUSH" and the usual yellow Custom Shop end label both confirm the overall configuration including "Type 'B' Master engraved, with Heat Blue screws, Bird's Head configured grip" and the grips. The revolver has standard markings, attractive traditional American scroll and floral engraving with punch dot backgrounds, matching serial numbers, "G.S." (George Spring) on the left side of the front strap at the toe, "BH 68" on the grip straps and on the "RUSH" label, and matching numbered grips.

Excellent overall with 99% plus original nickel finish remaining, showing some light handling and storage marks, a few minor scratches, and very faint cylinder rotation marks. There are a couple of nicks in the finish on the ejector rod head. The box is very good with mild storage wear. Mechanically excellent.
