This revolver was manufactured in 1986 and engraved by Colt Master Engraver George Spring who has been engraving for Colt since 1975. The Colt Custom Gun Shop end label confirms the overall configuration including "Type 'B' Master engraved, Bird's Head configured grip," and the grips. The revolver has standard markings, attractive traditional American scroll and floral engraving with punch dot backgrounds, matching serial numbers, "G.S." (George Spring) on the left side of the front strap at the toe, and "BH 90" on both grip straps.

Excellent overall with only light handling and storage marks and some very slight drag marks in the cylinder stops. The box is good with mild overall storage wear. Mechanically excellent.
