Manufactured in 1986. The end label on the shipping box confirms the "Type C" journeyman engraving, barrel length, and the grip material. It does not list the elongated grip and lists the revolver as a "SHERRIFFS MODEL [sic]" although it is actually the similar Storekeeper's Model and is marked "COLT STOREKEEPER'S MODEL" on the left side of the barrel. The top of the barrel has the two-line address, and the right side has "COLT S.A.A. 45 CAL." The frame has the standard patent marking. The serial numbers match throughout. The grip frame also has a set of factory X'd out numbers. The shipping box noted above contains an improper styrofoam box not the original blue box.

Excellent overall with 98% plus of the frosted original nickel plating and attractive fire blue accent finish, light cylinder rotation lines, some minor imperfections in the grip including small chip on the inner edge at the heel, and crisp engraving. The box is fair with tearing and storage wear. Mechanically excellent.
