Manufactured in 1943, this rifle (per included photocopied documents) was released by the United States Army via the National Rifle Association "less telescope" in 1964. Properly without sights and featuring the offset "03-A3" model nomenclature, this rifle is fitted with a "RA/3-43" barrel, a one piece parkerized Redfield scope base with rings and a "R" marked bolt with properly contoured handle. Stock is the "C" pattern, with dual reinforcement bolts, "S" in the cutoff groove, "RIA/EB" on the left side of the buttstock and a checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with 99% of the parkerization, showing some light handling marks and edge wear. The fine arsenal refurbished stock shows some dings and scuffs, along with a few sanded areas. Mechanically excellent.
