Blade ramp front sight, three leaf (one fixed with yellow triangle, two folding) express rear sight on a matted quarter rib, with an extractor. The right rear barrel is marked "Safari .500 N.E.", and the left side is marked with the three line address, made in Germany marking. The barrel flats are marked ".500 N.E.", and the matching serial number is on the left flat. The sides of the Anson & Deely box lock action are engraved with African game animal scenes, an elephant in a plains scene on the left and a rhino on the right side. The lower left rear of the receiver is signed "SH" (Silke Henke). The underside of the receiver, trigger guard and break lever are decorated with floral scroll patterns, and the forearm hardware has simple line designs and a zigzag border. Sling swivel mounted on the underside of the barrels, double triggers, extractor, cocking indicators and tang mounted manual safety. Coin finished action, blue remaining metal surfaces, and mounted with a beautiful multi-point checkered straight grain walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a plastic grip cap, cheek piece, sling swivel and solid Merkel recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches. Complete with the original box

Excellent overall with 99% plus original blue and coin finish remaining, showing a couple of small minor dents on the wood, sharp checkering, and overall light handling/storage marks. Sharp engraving. Mechanically excellent.
