Introduced to be a faithful reproduction of the beloved Parker double barrel 20 gauge shotgun. The "P" prefix on the serial number indicates that this is an early production gun and may have been issued as a personal gift from Jack Skeuse, the man behind the introduction of the Parker Reproduction brand. Single bead sight on the matte concave rib with standard markings, 3 inch chambers, ejectors, and modified/full chokes. Brilliantly casehardened receiver with standard "D" grade engraving of hunting dogs on the sides, and three pheasants on the bottom with the balance covered in fine scroll designs. Single selective trigger and tang mounted manual safety. Extra fancy checkered splinter forearm with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with blank initial oval and engraved skeleton buttplate over a checkered bare butt. Extra barrel is 26 inches long with 2 3/4 inch chambers, ejectors, and improved cylinder/modified chokes. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .614/.614 inch; minimum wall thickness .033/.033 inch; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches. With leather bound Parker Reproduction takedown case, and leather and canvas case cover.

Excellent overall. 99% plus original finish remains with some scattered light handling marks, sharp checkering, and some small dings on the wood. There is also some minor chipping on the left edge of the stock at the butt plate. Mechanically excellent. Extra barrel set is excellent. Case is excellent.
