This model is a side-by-side double rifle with a partial solid quarter rib. The front sight ramp has a interchangeable blade sight with a white bead, the rear portion has a fixed sight and the rib is engraved with a floral design and marked "EXPRESS CHAPUIS ARMES FRANCE". There are scope rings mounted on the rear quarter rib as well. There is a sling swivel base mounted on the underside and the bottom of the right barrel is marked "BLACKBERN -NN - VA". The action, break lever, trigger guard and forearm hardware are finished coin and are engraved with fine scroll and floral designs. The forearm knuckle is marked "CHAPUIS ARMES/"JUXTAPOSE PROGRESS" Auto ejectors, double triggers, tang mounted manual safety, and mounted with a deluxe multi-point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a cheekpiece, Decelerator recoil pad and sling swivel eye. Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches and it weighs just a little over 7 pounds.

Excellent with 99% original blue and coin finish remaining, showing a tiny ding on the left rear barrel, otherwise only light handling marks. The wood is also excellent with a few minor dents and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
