Confirmed by the included factory letter, this pistol was kept by the Colt factory as a display piece and sample. The letter also confirms the caliber, barrel length, finish, rosewood stocks with gold Rampant Colt and Minnesota State seal inlays, and the Minnesota State Patrol special edition etching on the slide. Complete with a Colt "wood grain" box with the Custom Shop end label numbered to the gun.

Near new in box with 99% plus original nickel finish remaining with a couple minor scratches. The grips are near new with only the slightest handling marks. Box is fine with end label taped to box.
