This Western Pennsylvania/Ohio style rifle by Edwin (Ed) Parry of Black Hart Long Arms has a large blade front sight, fine notch rear sight, large "Parry" signature on top with floral accents, light engraving on the lock, double set triggers, "National Road" patch box with similar engraving to Parry's Fleeger rifles, traditional engraving on most of the fittings, and nickel silver pin escutcheons, "DB" inscribed thumb plate, and cheek piece inlay. The stock has molding along the forend and butt and a mix of incised and raised relief carving around the barrel tang and left side of the butt.

Very fine overall with crisp engraving and carving, some light patina forming, minor marks and scratches consistent with handling and storage, and slight scrapes on the frizzen. Mechanically excellent.
